Terms of Service - Trading Jay

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Trading Jay platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Trading Jay is an automated trading dashboard that connects to third-party brokerage accounts (e.g., Alpaca Markets) to execute strategies on your behalf. The Service provides:

Automated trading strategy execution
Portfolio performance tracking
Backtesting tools and signal analysis
Market commentary via TradingJayBot (AI-powered chat)

3. Not Financial Advice

Trading Jay does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. All content, signals, strategies, and bot responses are for informational and educational purposes only. Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Past performance is not indicative of future results. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally permitted to trade securities in your jurisdiction to use this Service. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements.

5. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Accounts are non-transferable.

6. Referral Codes & Access

Access to Trading Jay requires a valid referral code issued by Jhome Automation or an authorized referrer. Referral codes are personal and may not be shared or sold. Misuse of referral codes may result in account termination.

7. Subscription & Billing

Paid tiers are billed on the schedule displayed at the time of purchase.
Trial periods are granted at our discretion and may be revoked.
All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

8. API Keys & Third-Party Brokers

You may connect your brokerage API keys to the Service. By doing so, you authorize Trading Jay to place trades on your behalf according to your selected strategy settings. Trading Jay is not responsible for losses resulting from:

Market volatility or strategy underperformance
Brokerage outages or API failures
Incorrect API key permissions configured by the user
Actions taken by the automated strategies

9. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

Use the Service to engage in illegal trading activity (e.g., market manipulation, insider trading)
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy proprietary strategy logic
Share your account access with others
Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law

10. Intellectual Property

All platform code, strategy logic, branding, and content are the property of Jhome Automation. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal purposes only.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JHOME AUTOMATION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS OR TRADING LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting support.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction where Jhome Automation operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify active users of material changes via email.
